Changelog

The original LMS8001 Companion Board launched in 2017 was hardware revision 2v1 and so this changelog starts with changes from that point.

Note

Details of internal-only versions which were never released are not included here.

3v2

There are very few board design differences since we tried to keep the original design as much as possible. Updates were mainly made due to obsolete components and a change in the operational band.

  • IF frequency was changed from 1.2 GHz to 2 GHz;

  • RF band optimisation was changed from 5-6 GHz to 6.5-7.5 GHz.

This resulted in matching components being changed to optimise the board response.
